Year 1 Team welcome

Hello and Welcome to Year 1!

I am Miss McLean, the class teacher, and we will be supported by Mrs Perry, our class Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We are both looking forward to teaching and helping your child develop and grow over the course of Year 1.

We hope that your child can read at least 3 times a week and have their reading diary signed. They will also have Weekly Spellings to learn, later on in the year. Our PE day is a Tuesday, for more information about PE kit requirements, please visit our uniform page.

If you have any questions throughout the year, please feel free to ask either myself or Mrs Perry – We are always happy to help! We are excited to work with you this year and support your child in their next steps at Good Shepherd.
