Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. We will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
When inspecting education in independent schools, we recommend when inspection should take place but inspect at the request of the DfE.
By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.

The National Curriculum states that All children need to know their Time Tables 1x 2x 3x 4x 5x 6x 7x 8x 9x 10x 11x 12x by the end of Year 4. We know that some children are really quick to learn Time Tables and some children need LOTS of reinforcement to recall facts quickly. Children need to be able to recall facts quickly when using the operation of multiplication or division. If we can make this learning fun at both home and school we can ensure children know their timetables.
Reading at home. We try to encourage all parents to make sure that they are listening to their child read regularly at home. Even if a child is a fluent reader it is still important that they get the opportunity to read aloud to an adult or to share a book and be read to by an adult on a regular basis. Whilst we do endeavour to provide lots of reading opportunities in the school day, reading at home too will encourage a lifelong love of reading and greater progress in this area. Thank you for working in partnership with us
